Capstone Recap
Doing my capstone presentation was nerve wrecking at first but after practicing my presentation through a couple of times with my friends, I got down the jist of my presentation. during the presentation itself, I was far less nervous then expected, however my voice was softer.
The biggest problem I faced was getting over my nerves, however my judges were friendly and loved the candy I brought.
My solution was to relax and treat them more friends then enemies. I also had to practice my presentation many times over since my judges didn't come until 6:30, and I got there at 3:30.
The judges would be better if they did nothing. Because they were perfect.
My capstone class would've been better if I wasn't so lazy and procrastinate as I did. If i prepared beforehand, it would've been a lot easier and flowing.

Physical Presentation
I am presenting my curriculum and explaining each week in the project, the projects that'll be tested and the costs of each. I will be explaining the properties of graphene and it's intensive uses, while presenting my website and playing through my interactive
I will also use a tri-fold board to highlight each point of graphene, all the while intriguing the viewer with my poster.

Passionate
There were many important points in the advice. A few highlights were to relax and not over think the project and presentation, to take it one step at a time and prepare, and to be passionate about what you're presenting.
I'm passionate about the potential of my project. As a gamer and technology junkie, anything that can further enhance the processors and motherboards of this age. While we can overclock our processor to hit 6.0 GHz today, and with military technology hit 10.0 GHz. However, with the power of graphene technology could possibly hit 20 GHz for military technology and and for everyday technology 10.0 GHz.

Why have the poster ?
The poster must have the name of the presentation along with who is giving it. There must also be the place, time, and date. The name must be big and appealing. Along with graphics to explain the presentation without giving it out I have an image of a holographic car on my poster to appeal and send a message for the future. I may put charts or facts to display my information in a more appealing sense. If not a chart then a quote for inspiration and validation for my theme. My color scheme will be neutral and sleek. I may change the font to make it match the theme.

Capstone Theme
I am doing my capstone on how Graphene can replace or aid Silicon in the technology industry to unlock new doors towards stronger, faster, more durable technology. Graphene is currently supported in many studies as a good aid to silicon based proudcts today, however some are more hopeful. One day, products may be completely graphene based and will reach speeds that far surpass the 3.2 GHz that we hit today.

High School Yearbook from Mundelein, Illinois

The cover of the 2012 Rye High School yearbook, Stagecoach, which carried the theme "Inner Workings."
These two yearbook designs shout out to me because they have clever and nice themes while remaining minimal. There's nothing too flashy our too desperate for attention. They're simple, sleep, and cunning.
Vintage and what it means
Vintage, a word with a meaning that is no more definite then our very own universe. Whether it may refer to the model T ford,

(image found on wiki commons) or the olden Shakespearean times of corsets and fluffy fashion as shown by King Henry XIII.

(image found on wiki commons)
While the meaning is large, it theme is small. Old. Authentic. Antique. Vintage. Let's explore this "vintage" as we explore our universe. As a comparison, we'll bring in modern or current examples of our culture. This image, which belongs to homedesignstoday.com, examples the sleek, new, and clean qualities of modern furniture.

The style of the modern age is exampled by this photo, owned by Simon Burstall, of a man in a suit.
Again, sleek, dark, and new. More examples of cars, colors, buildings, and designs.

Now for some contrast examples of vintage furniture, buildings, colors, and designs will be shown. One of my favorite ideas of vintage is the original Mickey Mouse animated shorts, such as Steamboat Willie and the Barn Dance. While Mickey is intriguing, his predecessor Oswald the lucky rabbit, fascinates me more. The poster for Steamboat Willie examples the common design of vintage.
(found and owned by Celebrity Productions, the Walt Disney Company, and its designers) Some may consider the remade characters and styles of Mickey and Oswald in their new game, Epic Mickey, as vintage.

Other medias of vintage times include the model T shown earlier, King Henry's fashion, and these examples.

Vintage culture themes older culture. The color commonly associated with vintage would be brown, while the designs in furniture and buildings may be a bit ornate. In contrast with modern culture, which color schemes are color neutral and simple or sleek. My favorite vintage period would the the times of the Walt Disney animations around 1928 and so forth, along with the sound of Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong's music in the 1930's.
